The Standard portfolio page has been created. The portfolio is starting out with 2 recent additions.

The first addition was EMA. eMagin has recently displayed its x800 gaming visor at the CES( Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas. EMA has also released news of the production of an iPod accessory called the eyeBud. This device has one small screen that is placed in front of one eye. It gives the illusion of watching your iPod videos on a large screen tv. Technical Analysis indicates that this stock may be on the verge of a breakout as it has recently cleared its 50 day moving average.

The second addition to the Standard Portfolio was RACK. Rackable Systems sells computer servers and storage systems for large-scale data center deployments in the US, Europe, and Asia. They hold substantial intellectual capital in the form of patented computer hardware systems. Technical analysis of the RACK chart shows us a stock that can be considered to be heavily overbought. However, average daily volume for this stock has been climbing steadily for a couple of months now. This can be seen as the establishment of a strong upward trend in this stock. The SMG Staff will be creating a new standard portfolio. This portfolio will not be limited to OTCBB stocks. We are watching 2 stocks for addition to the portfolio which currently has no positions.

The first stock we will be watching is EMA (eMagin Corporation). This company specializes in development of optical systems and microdisplays for use in the electronics industry mainly targeting military contracts. They have developed a new display called the eyeBud for the iPod. We are looking at this stick for a possible short term trade as the fundamentals of this company are not very good.

The second stock we are watching is GTE (GlobeTel Communications Corp.) This company specializes in telecommunication services including internet telephony using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) equipment. This company recently received a 600 Million dollar contract.

We have not as of yet added this either of these to our portfolio. We will be keeping watch on these on Tuesday morning for a possible entry. Keep in mind that the OTCBB Portfolio Tracker is has been moved here and can always be found in the departments section.
